Billing

How do I cancel?

Open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Plan by Phase → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Your access continues until the end of the period you paid for.

Can I get a refund?

Apple processes all payments and refunds. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the charge and choose "Request a refund". We cannot issue refunds directly.

I paid but the app still shows the paywall

Tap Restore purchases on the paywall (or in Settings → Subscription). Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID that bought the subscription. If it still fails, email us with the date of purchase.

Your cycle map

My period started. What do I do?

On the planner, tap My period started today. Day 1 moves to today and the week re-plans. You can also change the last period date and cycle length under Settings → Edit cycle dates.

The phase feels wrong

The app uses a calendar estimate: ovulation is placed about 14 days before your next expected period, so the phase boundaries depend on the cycle length you entered. Update the length in Settings if your cycles run shorter or longer. Hormonal contraception, postpartum months, perimenopause and irregular cycles all reduce how well a calendar model fits; treat the plan as a loose weekly rhythm in those cases.

Calendar export added duplicates

Each export writes seven new all-day events. Delete the older ones in your calendar app, or export once per week. The app never reads or deletes calendar events (it only has write access).

Notifications

The energy-dip heads-up is one local notification, scheduled two days before the luteal phase is expected to start, at 9:00. Turn it on or off under Settings → Reminders in the app, and make sure notifications are allowed for Plan by Phase in iOS Settings.

Privacy and data

Delete everything

Settings → Delete all my data. This removes your cycle map, answers and encryption key from the iPhone. Deleting the app does the same. There is no server copy to delete.

Move to a new iPhone

Cycle data is stored on-device and encrypted with a key that does not transfer between devices, so it will not follow you automatically. Re-enter your last period date and cycle length on the new phone (30 seconds) and use Restore purchases for your subscription.

Report a problem

Email hello@planbyphase.com with your iPhone model, iOS version and what you tapped before it happened. Screenshots help. Please do not include your cycle dates unless the problem is about them.
